The Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program is a rigorous, comprehensive medical education that prepares students to become competent, caring, and ethical physicians. The curriculum covers the core areas of medical science and clinical practice over 6+ years of study.
Throughout the program, students also participate in problem-based learning, simulation labs, small group discussions, and a longitudinal patient care experience. The curriculum is designed to develop the medical knowledge, clinical skills, professionalism, and system-based practice needed to excel as a physician.
AIUWA College of Medicine is listed in IMED FAIMER International Medical Education directory published by Education Commission for Medical Graduates (US) ECFMG. AIUWA medical students are eligible to give USMLE examinations for certification in US and, or International Foundations of Medicine (IFOM 1 & 2) examinations held by National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME)
Additionally, local examinations supervised by external examiners are also conducted.
